The Ipe Clip® Extreme™ fastener is ideal for applications which use air-dried decking. As the air-dried wood naturally shrinks, the Extreme™ fastener will hold the board firm to the joist while still allowing the board to move naturally. Likewise, the Ipe Clip® ExtremeKD™ fastener also features the same maximum holding force and is perfect for Kiln-dried decking. The hollow leg and metal/plastic composition of this invisible fastener allows the kiln-dried wood to expand on its width while maintaining even gap spacing. The Extreme™ line of Ipe Clip® hidden deck fasteners combine the best properties of metal and plastic together to yield a securely fastened hidden deck board system.

We are also proud to have just introduced the Extreme4™ hidden deck fastener. Our latest deck fastener offers installers a choice for their gap spacing. The Extreme4™ fastener can be used to increase the gap spacing on air dried decking to 4 mm, or shrink the gap spacing on kiln dried decking to 4 mm. This new invisible fastening system is designed to allow the proper expansion and contraction of all decking materials. Since its initial release, our Hardwood Wrench™ has become the ultimate deck board straightening tool in the market. Deck builders prefer this deck tool to others because it provides superior bending power of more than 1,000 pounds of force and features a true one man installation process of bowed boards. Constructed from hard anodized aircraft-grade aluminum and finished with a turned hardwood handle, The Hardwood Wrench™ has been tested by tooling labs to show that it produces the most force while being the easiest to use. The results show that the Hardwood Wrench™ provides a maximum bending force of 1078 lbs. That is up to 80% more force than other deck board tools!
